Career Overview
Deep has a 14-year background in sales and business development with a focus within technology, software and digital sectors in predominantly early-stage companies. His specialities include deal origination and negotiation, as well as board and C-Level recruitment. He was Head of Sales & Business Development for The Outside View, a machine learning, predictive analytics start-up (SaaS) which was acquired by Rightmove.
Deep was Commercial Director of Eva Diagnostics (now Entia) a VC funded medical device manufacturer. Also having been a Co-Founder in a digital agency, he handled marketing for the largest US real estate lead generation (SaaS) platform, Boldleads, which was subsequently acquired by Propertybase for $30m. He has successfully negotiated to contract several multi-million-pound transactions within the building services sector.
Career Highlights
Deep joined The Outside View as its first employee and was tasked with finding product market fit for a machine learning software that hadn’t been built yet. ‘The CEO gave me full autonomy to find who our customer base would be and get us in a room with them’.
Within the first 2 months he had scheduled and led meetings with executives at Bloomberg, CNN, HSBC, RBS, Knight Frank and Savills. On the back of this work they closed their first customer which was Knight Frank and the company was later acquired by Rightmove.
